The Beauchamp lab focuses on neural correlates of Multisensory integration and visual perception in human subjects using fMRI. The neuroanatomical region of interest is the Superior Temporal Sulcus which is crucial for integration of auditory, visual and somatosensory information as well as the perception of complex visual motion, such as mouth movements.
